It’s episode 86 and I’m chatting with Heather Vickery, a single mom of four (all girls!) who left a decade long marriage and came out personally and professionally (yes, of the closet). She lives in Forest Park Illinois, and is an award-winning business owner and global leader with over 20 years as an entrepreneur.
We got into a discussion about seeing deeply, mistakes, forgiveness and doing better. Heather is a big second chance believer. We also talked about creativity and writing, singing, acting and her efforts to connect in new ways to her creativity.
She’s the author of Gratitude Journal: Shift Your Focus and Grow Grateful: A Gratitude Journal for Kids and Families, and the host and executive producer of The Brave Files Podcast. Because of this, she is, of course, a fan of gratitude journaling, and NaNoWriMo.
She leverages her entrepreneurial skills and expertise to coach individuals towards greater personal and professional fulfillment by helping them leverage their fear into intentional bravery.
Heather says “When we choose bravely, on purpose, we choose bigger, have bigger successes an it’s contagious”
It was so lovely to connect with Heather, and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy listening in.
Enjoy our ramble through her chosen tale as well as her relationship with her body and creativity.
