Today I’m chatting with Wynne Leung, a visual artist and designer living in San Francisco, California.

Originally from Toronto, we actually met when she did an artist residency at the Caetani Centre’s Artist in Residence program in Vernon, BC., which I highly recommend.

If you’re an artist or a creative, it’s one of the cheapest artist residencies around, you can stay short or long term, and it’s situated in a gorgeous character home with an impressive tree filled yard and garden, with a cluster of art studios in the backyard which you can also access, if desired. Plus, Vernon and the Okanagan Valley are pretty neat places.

By the way – stay tuned at the end of this episode – after my closing words and music, I added a hilarious story about names. It’s a bit unofficial to the podcast, but it’s so funny and Wynne’s laugh is so infection, it’s worth listening in on.

Enjoy our ramble through the tale of Dumbo as well as Wynne’s relationship with her body and creativity.
