Today is my father’s birthday. He would have been 58. Instead, he passed away shortly after turning 53, of leukemia, which he got at the age of 49.

Today is also a new moon. I’ve been learning about how the moon cycles affect us, and feeling very nourished by this knowledge.

In honour of my father, here are some things to consider.

Arcosanti. An experimental, architecturally stunning community in Arizona.

On Men. And what is grand and glorious about men.

20 things to know about death and grief.

Because I’m proud of my creative brother and his newest creation. The Woodcutter’s Blanket.

Because I’m proud of my youngest brother and his woodworking craftsman spirit, something my father also aspired to.

And, all about this new moon.

I love hearing about what resonates for you, so please do let me know,
